UPDATE: COVID Tracer QR Code Posters Required by 19th August 2020
• Public Health and SafetyJust a reminder to anyone who has not yet got their COVID Tracer QR code posters yet, these will be mandatory for all businesses and service providers from the 19th August 2020. You are required to display these posters in a noticeable or conspicuous place at or near the main entrances to all relevant properties and locations where it can be seen and used easily by all those who enter the premises.
If you haven’t already got your official NZ COVID Tracer QR Code Poster, you will need to do so by the 19th August. You will need the following information:
- A valid NZ driver’s licence for verification of identity
- The address of each location or premises
- An email address
- An email address and contact number for each separate location or premises
For anyone that does not have a driver’s licence or has many business locations, you can submit a bulk-upload template by email to the Ministry of Health’s NZ COVID Tracer support team at [email protected]. You can download this template from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment website.
You can also download QR code posters from MBIE’s Business Connect if you are already registered.
Where to display the postersEach code poster is associated with a particular location or property so you will need one for each of these if you have multiple locations. You can also print as many posters as you need for the number of entrances for each location and even in different display points within the premises.
They should be printed in A4 and colour wherever possible. Do not crop the posters and make sure they are printed clearly so the app can read them. The Ministry of Health has created simple information leaflet to explain the best ways to display your QR code posters. You can find more information about the NZ COVID Tracer QR codes on the Ministry of Health website.
